US Customs house historic renovation - Baltimore, md
Project Overview
This historical preservation project consisted of the removal and replacement of bird control devices; repair or replacement of designated deteriorated wood window components (asbestos abatement); removal and replacement of all perimeter sealant; removal and replacement of all glazing compound (lead abatement); installation of interior protective window film; installation of interior storm sashes; removal, replacement of window shades, and restoration and fabrication of metal components for window grates and door grates, removal of paint film and dirt from limestone facade in select areas. Work was coordinated with GSA's historical preserva-tionist assigned to the project. Subcontractor trades included a metal and wood window specialist, abatement contractor, window shade and storm window providers, and bird netting installation. All other work was self-performed by ONeill Contractors, Inc.
