OUR VALUES
Kaney O’Neill and brother Nick O’Neill
ONeill Contractors has a deep and proud history serving in the United State Military. Lead by service-disabled veteran Kaney O’Neill, we are committed to employing and advancing the professional skills of veterans who bring a unique discipline and team orientation to the construction industry.
Although we entered the construction industry with roofing specialty skills, ONeill Contractors is an 8(a), Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, general contractor who has experience in many construction trades to include insulation, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, installation and grinding, HVAC, electrical, and demolition.
Our core values – safety, team learning, personal responsibility and respect for the environment – are reflected in everything we do.
Safety is extremely important to each and every project we undergo. We consistently ensure that our personnel have undergone proper OSHA construction industry training courses. Furthermore, we are proud of our EMR rating of .91.
Team Learning is the basis of our expertise. It’s how we’re able to be flexible and accommodating to our clients. We consistently cross train our personnel to ensure consistent project understanding. This is reflected in the extensive experience of our personnel and we understand that each and every person on the ground is critical to the project success.
ONeill Contractors takes a personal responsibility to completing projects within safety regulations using non-evasive products to both humans and to the environment. All of our products are supplied to the highest quality specifications available in the market; it’s our commitment to maintain competitive prices without compromising the quality of our products and services.
SELF-PERFORMING CAPABILITIES
Because of ONeill Contractor’s extensive knowledge and past experience as a general contractor and as a diverse roofer, we prefer to self-perform as much as possible.
We maintain full faith and confidence that our highly trained and seasoned crews will perform above and beyond what is expected by the end user.
ONeill Contractor also maintains a large database of highly qualified subs to augment where it makes good construction sense.
As a self-performing contractor, we continually invest in the technical skills and professional development of our employees with the goal of delivering solutions that are consistently reliable and innovative.
A TEAM APPROACH TO SAFETY
Kaney ONeill founded ONeill Contractors, Inc. with a personal commitment to maintain a safe work environment for its employees, clients, end users, and visitors of the facilities we build. This commitment is shared by all employees who regularly participate in safety training and educational seminars.
The very nature of construction work is inherently dangerous which is why it is placed in one of the high safety-risk categories. For this reason, good practices and good processes are essential for a successful contractor. To that end, before any job-site work even begins, we have a trained and experienced employee visit the site to observe any potential job hazards. A site-specific safety plan is then created to address these hazards and to determine the safest staging and equipment set-up plan.
Our experience has shown us that the company’s focus on excellence in safety performance delivers superior service – one of the reasons customer return to us. ONeill Contractors routinely offers our safety programs, policies, manuals and records available to facility managers in order to demonstrate our commitment in both our words as well as our actions. Safety-conscious companies see from our records and our actions that we share common goals with them – to safely, economically, and successfully complete their project at hand.
